Today I’ve noticed my rabbit is very…I guess full of attitude. She will be let out of her cage and she will be fine for a while then she starts biting everything! She will run around as if someone was chasing her and scares herself. When I get her in her cage everything I stick my arm in to give her hay or pick up her poops she growls and bites me! I was wondering if rabbits have good days and bad ones? Or maybe something’s wrong ?

I see you are having her spayed soon. Her attitude right now is probably due to hormones, and they are very territorial in general. She’ll probably go back to being the sweet bun you know a couple weeks after her spay. Until then, try to do her cage cleaning and refilling bowls and things while she’s running around outside of it. That way you won’t be reaching in there with her protecting it.

I had to go through this with Sally when I was waiting for her to turn 6 months to get spayed. She was sweet as a button when out and about but if she was in her cage I couldn’t feed her, mess with her litterbox, really if my arm was in her cage she would box me and growl at me. So while she was playing I’d then go in and do what I needed to do. It hurt my feelings lol but after her spay it went away. She will still growl at me to this day (when I’m plucking her fur and she’s had enough) but I have never been boxed or lunged at ever since the spay. And I like her cute growls lol I don’t hear them very often though and it’s never a territorial thing. It’s only when I pluck her fur haha
