        Jack is shedding like crazy, beyond what i thought was possible. i can just pull is hair out in clumps.i don’t know if this is normal. its absolutely unbearable.

          Yes this is normal. Spring is molting season for rabbits. Try to make sure and brush him every day during molting.
          You can also help tons by just gently pulling loose clumps of fur to keep him from digesting them and getting a hairball. I have also posted about papaya tablets from oxbow animal health. They are EXTREMELY effective in helping to prevent hairballs, especially when combined with brushing since buns can’t cough hairballs up and you don’t want them to get stuck.
