Lost my beautiful girly, Bella, at 6am this morning. I noticed last night her poop was a bit weird and she was more lethargic than usual. She has had episodes of gas / constipation before but it usually sorted itself out within a few hours. I woke up at 4am this morning to check on her but she was lifeless. I got her in to bed with me and tried to keep her warm but she just stopped breathing a couple of hours later

I’m absolutely heartbroken, we had such a close bond and I’m going to miss her so, so much. I live on my own and she’s been my rock for the last two years. I wish I had noticed if something was up yesterday so I could have maybe done something, but I’m guessing at the speed she deteriorated it would have probably been too late. I’m devastated, it still hasn’t sunk in. She was taken far too soon, I was expecting many more years with her.

So many happy memories though and she will never be forgotten. Everytime I look at my chewed up rugs I will remember that cheeky face!

I am so sorry. I know how you feel, that is just how I felt when I lost my precious Bella. May she binky forever free at the rainbow bridge. (((hugs)))

I’m very sorry to hear about your loss. It always feels so unfair.

I also lost my bunny best friend of eight years only a few weeks ago. I choose to see the grief as a testament to how great bunnies are and how lucky we are to have them. We’re thinking of you now and sending supportive thoughts your way.
