        Hi,

So my rabbit Theo is almost 6 1/2  months old and i need to start giving him less food how should you shorten his food?? I just switched him too his new timothy based food and it is VERY expensive so i want to start giving him less food. When i start lowering his food how much should i shorten it?? He is 1 1/2 to 2 pounds and he is a Netherland dwarf

        Thanks

I would give him about 1/8 of a cup of the pellets, 1.5 to 2 cups of fresh greens and, unlimited hay. Reduce pellets and increase greens gradually. He should already have free choice hay at all times so should not need to change that.

Do you mean that you feed him the pellets once a day? I would do the pellets in the morning and the greens at night or vice versa (whichever works for you) and make sure he is free fed grass hay.

That sounds like a good plan.
