My male bunny rabbit likes to jump up on my sofa and pee on me and the sofa. Otherwise, he goes in his litter box. He even poos when he’s up on my sofa. He jumps up on the sofa with me every five seconds and I keep gently picking him up and taking him to his litter box, but he comes right back to the sofa. Does anyone have any advice? I’ve taken three showers today!!

Perfectly normal behavior for rabbits to want to pee on sofas. You must not allow him up there – it smells very strongly of you and even many altered rabbits will pee on couches and beds.

Both ours have peed on the couch! Grrr… silly bunnies. One of ours pees on my husband on occasion too. LOL No issues on the floor yet.

Thanks, guys. I will talk to the vet about neutering. I really hate to ban him from the couch because I love to cuddle with him when he’s not peeing on me!
