Hello everyone! I am excited to be a part of BB’s forum! I have two rabbits and a permanent foster rabbit. My two are named Coco and Ginger, I have had them both less than a year. Coco is (I’m sorry to say) a scaredy-bunny! Make an unexpected noise, and he vanishes into thin air! Ginger is very curious, and has started to get over tasting everything to see what it is (Including my feet) My foster bunny is named Muffin, he is a sweet little guy unless you rile him up He loves to be petted and frequently “purrs” when you stroke his head. I am looking forward to hanging out in the forum!

Welcome to BB! Coco is just gorgeous, he reminds me of my bun, Olivia. And I love that little spot on Ginger’s head. Muffin is too cute, were you fostering and then just couldn’t let him go? I wouldn’t have been able to!

littlepuffytail, actually Muffin used to be my bun, but he developed a tumor that needed x-rays, and perhaps surgery, and everyone here knows exactly how expensive bunnies are… I relinquished him to the HRS shelter (that is literally minute walking distance from my house) then they made him my permanent foster so he could get x-rays!!!!! I was so grateful! He is doing ok now, they couldn’t do anything about the tumor, but he is getting around fine.

I have a scaredy bunny too. Chipper – he freezes then thumps though instead of vanishing.   He’s having some adjustment issues I think. (I also think he has never, and I mean NEVER been out of a cage/hutch. poor bunny.) Our other guy – Licorice – is “Mr. Personality” and intimidating in that regard.

Since on is a foster do you keep them separate?

yeah, they are separate. When muffin was my bun, I tried bonding him to Coco. Coco loved him, and Muffin hated Coco so that didn’t work out But then Coco got Ginger, and the shelter near me will be able to find room to pair Muffin with someone pretty soon now. He had a partner from the shelter, but they didn’t bond well, and we need a quick bonding because he hasn’t got very much time. His original partner died last year. She was only about four.
