        Hello Binky Bunnies!

It’s been such a long time since I’ve been here. I have started a new job and life has been very busy. Anyway, we’ve had our little bundle of fluff almost a year now and she’s great. She is a free range bunny with run of the whole house whilst we’re at home. She has one litter tray upstairs in the study and one downstairs. When we’re out she stays in the study. She’s so good with her litter box…but…

This week my partner and I want to do some room changes upstairs and essentially swap the bedroom and the study. This means moving the bunny! I really don’t want her to lose her litter habits and I hate the idea of confining her to bars again, even for a short time. Has anyone got any experience of bunnies moving rooms or house that can help? Want to make it as stress free as possible for the little minx and for us too! We have carpet….so accidents are not easily disappeared!

        Thanks so much

        Laura and Tizzy x

I would recommend leaving a fleece in her cage for a week or so before the change, then rub it all over the carpet in the new room, so that it smells like her. Don’t clean the litter box during the switchover so that it still smells the same. You could also slowly introduce her to the new room in small sections.
