  Hey guys!!! I’m off to petco tomorrow to go shopping for my baby bunny! I just wanted to get some opinions/ideas on what you guys have for your bunny’s that you find to be a favorite I have a few ideas of what to get at there, but if you’d like to throw some ideas my way that would be great, thanks!!!

  I’ve actually found the best toys are not ones made specifically for rabbits! Apollo has some cardboard toys, parrot (WOODEN) chew toys, a phone book and some completely plastic baby keys that he loves so much!! These have been the most successful toys, for him to tear, toss and chew! All bunny toys I’ve ever tried him on have been complete flops!
  
  So maybe head to the local charity shop and check out the baby toys? As long as they aren’t the liquid or gel ones, or have little peices that can break off – they’ll be good!

  Lionel loves any type of baby toys. Some other favourites are cat jingly balls and cat treat balls. I make homemade toys, Lionel has a small bottle with beads inside. He also loves anything cardboard that he can shred. Willow is a big hit for most bunnies, it gets shredded within minutes. My bunnies favourite store-bought toys are the nut-knot nibbler and the rabbit amaze jingle ball.

  thanks for replying guys! I went out and bought some baby keys and found an old phone book I also went out and bought some chews at petco! I do have a question though…I bought a willow chew ball and inside of it there are 2 peanuts…real peanuts in the shells, is this ok for her to have? Can she eat peanuts? I didnt notice them in there until I got home and heard it rattling! And I was in a hurry in petco, if not i can exchange it for a different one

  Peanuts aren’t really good for bunnies, but you can remove them once she has chewed a big enough hole.

  Don’t know if it’s too late, but one of the few toys Foo goes crazy for from pet stores is the willow balls and barbels

  Ooh just remove the front and back covers on the phone book!
