Had a snow day today! What better time for a bunny photo shoot (attempted lol she’s just so darn fast!) .

Also introduced her to snow for the first time. I thought she’d dig in it but she was more interested in eating it. LOL Do your bunnies like the snow?

Just as an update, Holly has been doing fantastic! She turned 9 weeks this past Tuesday and I think I’ve already noticed some growth since I brought her home. Her litter habits have been great, aside from pooping some in her pen which I don’t think is a big deal, she’s only had one accident with pee in her cage. It’s amazing to me how smart a 9 week old bunny is! She’s learned how to jump in my lap for pets, and also how to nudge and nibble for me to move when I’m in her way. lol I also introduced her to my cat for the first time and they got a long great! Holly wasn’t nervous at all and ignored her to eat hay for the most part. haha

        They’re almost twins!! lol

Getting Holly has been so rewarding already! I can see why this becomes an obsession…

Haha I feel like her ears are always doing something funny! They’re way more expressive than I thought.

Oh Katie, she’s a beauty I introduced Chester to snow this year too and he reacted just the same “Food? Is this food? OMNOMNOMNOM”

I don’t know if I’d ever take my bunnies out in the snow because two of my buns have a high tendency to get allergies and breathing issues – worried they might catch a cold. Plus, harnesses aren’t good to use on bunnies.
I’ve brought snow indoors in bowls. Russell just buried his entire face in there. Min lay next to it. Daisy kicked it over. And Lily picked up the bowl and tossed it. (:

                      Haha, adorable!
Lionel loves the snow. I brought him some in a litter box, he sat and digger in it for hours.

Haha I was hoping she’d dig in the snow, or lay with it, or have some kind of fun, but “Food? Is this food?” is definitely what happened. lol
I don’t think Id ever try to actually bring her outside either. I can barely get her to go anywhere in the house!

Snow? Huh? What’s that? I say as I wipe the sweat dripping off my forehead – yep, another heatwave here in sunny Queensland Australia! I am trying to decide whether to put a frozen water bottle in Henry’s house or put the A/C on so we all get some relief, not just the bunny! LOL!
Holly is just ‘adorable’ – pleased you understand the bunny addiction thing now???? ha ha ha ha…..
Watching the video (thanks) I couldn’t help but wonder…. did she get a ‘brain freeze’? Lol! I also saw how spoilt she is! Just love it! Cheers Katie.

Thanks guys! She’s definitely ridiculously spoiled. And the bunny addiction is real. I’m already thinking about a second (but restraining myself)! haha Instead I just make Holly toys and blankets. So far I’ve been lucky and she hasnt been interested in chewing her beds or blankets (or peeing in them!). Crossing my fingers this continues. I do have to scatter some hay in her playpen or she’ll nibble the carpet, but as long as there’s hay on the floor she’ll leave it alone.
