Ok, so I’ve had my bunny for almost a year now and she’s been litter trained since a month after I got her… But today  she has decided not to go in her box… Ok, so she just runs around my room (its baby/bunny proof) and so I just have a towel down with her box, food, hay and water on it in a corner of the room. The hay is literally 2 feet away from the box but now she’s decided not to travel 2 feet to poop…   what’s going on?

The only thing I can think of is  the litter is a few days over due for a changing (the entire litter out. I just emptied the poo about 3 hours ago) and is getting very low… but can they be known to be THAT picky about their box?

Here’s her corner… you can see the litter is a little low… Its usually about half way… I just ran out the other day and haven’t gotten around to it… but I didn’t know she’d be this picky if that’s the case

Well I wouldn’t take one day of not using her litter box as a change in habit. Now that you have changed it see how she does.

Bunnies generally poop where they eat their hay. I’d move the hay to where she can reach it comfortably from inside her litter box.
