Has anyone else noticed their little one try to completely submerge their entire heads in hay, or is just mine? I’ll bring out a nice handful of hay for Cinder and she tries to put her whole head in the thing before she gets a clump to munch on. My ex says that her bunny would also submerge her head in ice water at times. Not sure if hers was way too hot, but that sounds consistent with mine.

I use hay racks that are fixed to the outside of her enclosure, so she’s physically prevented from doing that. However, she does pull out a good deal of hay before she finds “the piece” that she’s looking for.
