  I was looking at pet carriers on Amazon and this adorable dog house popped up. Would it be a safe house for my bunny? There are some super cute boy versions too. It’s made of “Cunninghamia Lanceolata, commonly referred to as “White Cedar” or “Stained Whitewood.”

  I’ve seen those and always thought about them for a possible bunny house but never looked into the materials used.
  
  Can you email the company and ask what it’s stained with? Is your bunny a chewer? I know ware hutches are made with “quality plywood” and “non-toxic stain” and despite being on the small side those are usually safe for bunnies. Just to clarify this would be an extra space for them to hang out not their entire habitat, right?

  Yes, I’m just looking for cute fun things. They’re in a x-pen now and once we’re done with bonding will both be free to roam (at least when we’re home). So far (we’ve only had him 4 weeks and just got her today) he isn’t a chewer but I figure they’ll chew on it at least a little.
