My rabbit will lay/sit in certain spots for a while and just poop there. She is otherwise litter trained and doesn’t pee at all outside the box or poop unless she’s just in the same spot for a while. It’s usually when she’s laying on a mat under a chair. Can I teach her not to? Or am I just going to have to sweep a lot? It’s not like she uses any part of the room as a bathroom, it’s just like she’s too lazy to get up.

Lol mine has decided to poo right next to her litter box if I don’t get up early enough to feed her breakfast, even if she has hay. As long as the poos are normal looking I wouldn’t be too concerned. How long has this been going on? Sometimes when they do that or wet in other places they can be trying to tell us something. On the other hand it can also just be naughtiness.

Bumpy pees in his box and poos in his box. But everyday!!! he ALSO poos right next to his box. I don’t know why he does it either. I think he does it on purpose though, I’m almost sure of it! 😐
