It’s all good ♥bunbuns♥ – a forum leader just moved your forum over to behaviour – just so people who may know about or are interested in this topic will find you. Like me! Lucky you! (?) Lol….
My boy bit me once, on the toe – drew blood. I just said ‘OUCH’ very loudly and pulled my foot away. And every time he touched my foot I pulled it away. All good now, but they need to learn they are hurting you, just like puppies learn to play bite and we humans when playing not to hit hard. They learn by us saying ouch loudly. My boy is so gentle with us now and we no longer have any fear of him hurting us. Yep – he is just playing, he just has to learn to play nicely, he he he he…. (don’t we all). Cheers.

                Thank you Andhenry

I must say its sort of worrying enought I have to put the toy on a string so my hand is well away and after I have to calm him down :/
His jumping / bashing into the teddy while biting worries me enough that I have to use string

How old is he, it kinda sounds like what I’ve heard being described as normal hormonal behavior. If he isn’t neutered this could be the case. Neutering would help with curbing unwanted behaviors brought about by that.

At 3 and a half months it certainly sound a hormonally driven behaviour! Totally normal!

As AndHenry says, you can teach him that he’s hurting you and he will learn gradually but with all those hormones flying it might take some time.
Before his neuter Pascal would bite if you were in his way or didn’t give him what he wanted quick enough. It never hurt or drew blood, just a bit of a shock! Now, almost 8 weeks post-neuter he doesn’t do it at all, except to denim clothes (bless him, he knows to only bite strong clothes!)

Anyway, it doesn’t seem like there’s any aggression in it, just a hormonal accident. Are you planning on neutering him?

I agree with everyone. Once in a while, I’ll get a little nip (which is COMPLETELY different than a bite) because either I’m not paying enough attention or the like. If you squeal pretty loudly, your bun will learn that he’s hurting you. This is the common communication of pain in their world. Unless she really gets aggressive, I really think it’s nothing to worry about.
