        Hi all,

I am looking for advice on my bunny room that is open to my kitchen…  Every time we have company I worry about young kids getting to the rabbits/dropping food etc..pushing on the cages and was hoping someone has advice on how I might be able to help this?  I was thinking maybe a gate from wall to wall that I can put up and take down afterwards?  I don’t want to move them out of the room because that would be more upsetting to them.  They have dealt with the noise of company fine, it’s just worrying about kids walking around the sides of the pens, etc and not wanting to constantly be watching like a hawk!  I know their parents should be better about it but it’s just not reliable for everyone

Here are two pics of my (messy, sorry didn’t do daily cleanup yet!) room..

I would just get a baby gate, like you have already suggested. That way there is a buffer-zone between their pens and the kids.

Yeah, you can get some great baby gates now in all kinds of sizes. My friends have an adjustable one that pulls out like a window blind across an entrance that looks a similar size to yours. It’s got a child proof lock on it. Something like that might be good because you can’t see through it so the kids wouldn’t even know what they’re not allowed to get to

I love your bunny room, those pens are huge and awesome!
