This is probably a hormonal behaviour so when she’s spayed it should go away

Oh Bummer. I love it when my little fuzzy lop lunges at people. I thought it was true love. She scared the dog once that way! I’m not sure she’s ever going to be healthy enough to get spayed. Trying to fatten her up, but with her tummy troubles, it’s impossible. I have to take her in to get her weighed and make sure she’s at least maintaining.

Awww Good luck. Mine’s been to the vet twice in the 3 months I’ve had her. She’s 2 years old and I’ve been battling tummy troubles with her and trying not to give her too much other than hay, but she’s so starved-acting when I give her anything else, I worry she’s lost weight. Don’t think I’ll ever house her with anyone, since I’ll be too paranoid to feed her much of anything like the rest of them get. But perhaps getting her spayed would help put on weight…? idk I just cannot risk putting her under anesthesia when she seems so boney.

I too would love my Henry to come running and greet us, let alone welcoming visitors upon arrival (nice way of saying your bunny is terrorising your guests lol!) – that sounds so funny/CUTE! My boy usually hides (probably cause he’s been up to no good) till he knows who has entered his home (I though it was my home?). On the chance it is because spaying is required, make the most of it (if you think it is cute/fun), cause her behaviour will most likely settle after being spayed. Wishing both (Megabunny – sorry that your girl is unwell) and you Lulu Cuteness healthy bunnies.

My rabbit Bobby chases me. I don’t think it’s bad other than you have to be very careful you do not step on him. That would be bad.

I think they call it lunging when they are actually rushing you and threatening to bite. I’ve had one of mine snort, as well, in anger. My tiny girl rushes at us, and if she’s in her cage, she will bite, but outside the cage, she just rushes then stops. I, personally, would love a rabbit that chases if it doesn’t seem to be snorting or biting. Might trip up an elderly person, though.  My big guy runs to us and kind-of follows us like a dog. That’s soooo fun! So I guess it depends on whether he seems angry, though it will likely calm down once he’s neutered.
