So I have been doing A LOT of google searching for home made items for Chloe

I have came across many awesome looking ideas, but wanted to come here and ask for advice first, on if there safe or not.

This is a fleece ball, made of 60″ x 4″ fleece, cut into stripes and tied together, Would this be a safe toy? (I presume as long as she doesn’t eat it?)

Well I guess it does depend. Not sure though how she would play with a toy like this to be honest. Is it meant to be a toy? It kind of reminds me of something you would use in a shower – or at least I would :~)

I googled “Home made rabbit toys” and this came up… I’m not sure really, It’s fleece. Maybe tossing it around? That’s why I came here to ask

Lol, I know what you mean Sarita!

Yeah it’s probably safe as long as they don’t eat much of it…
The best toys are cardboard boxes!

Yep – ‘ditto Tess’! My boy has everything cardboard for his toys….
My hubby (when not at work & sleeping) will stand up on end ‘rolls’ – toilet, paper towel, cling wrap, etc., and Henry will come over and knock them down. Hubby puts them up again, Henry knocks them down…. and on and on and on it goes! (You’d think one of them would be bored by now – NA!).
I am thinking of investing in a cheap kids bowling pin set for him (when I say him, not sure if I mean the hubby or Henry???). Too funny! (But good fun it seems?). For all the toys I ‘bought – $$$$’, what a waste of money – Henry hasn’t played with one?!?!? Go the cardboard! Cheers.

My rabbits have a fleece blanket that they LOVE to throw around and dig into. Not sure about the ball though – I’ve never tried one.

Ditto, I would definitely use this in the shower… Haha!

One of my rabbits plays with her fleece blanket non-stop. The other just pushes his aside. I think it’s trial and error with rabbits. I am finding that mine are complete opposites when it comes to toys, which may be good after they are bonded. No fights over their favorite toys I suppose.

My rabbits would probably toss it.

Things my bunnies like: Cardboard and CHEAP safely dyed kids sunglasses – they go nuts tossing glasses around and they kept stealing mine (which are not cheap!) so I got them a few pairs of their own and they just threw them all over the place.

They’d probably just enjoy moving it from one end of the cage to the other lol.

My bun LOVES fleece scraps. I do a decent amount of sewing and have a ton of fabric on hand, so I always throw baby-blanket sized squares of fleece in his cage and he goes nuts dragging it around. If your bun likes to toss things around (like mine does!), then she’ll probably love it!
