Since about Thursday night the bunnies haven’t been eating their veggies like normal. Normally when I open the fridge they run around like crazy trying to tear the veggies out of my hands. Recently though (since Thursday night), they just don’t seem interested at all and only nibble on them a bit. They end up eating all of it eventually but it is not normal. Normally they don’t leave the plate until its gone…

Can this behavior come from having a new bunny in the house? They don’t seem to mind the smell of me when I smell like the new bunny and they don’t seem to care about the stunt double (I even saw them lick it.). Is it just a bad batch of veggies? The new bunny eats them fine.

I don’t know what to do. I have already been to the vet twice this month. Lulu has a UTI at the moment but I don’t know if that would effect her appetite. Mocha did have some weight loss but he has started gaining it back. He also has slightly long teeth but not bad enough to file.

They are still eating hay, treats, and drinking water. The only odd thing is the veggies.

        Thanks again guys!

When I brought the twins home, Tank rabbit’s appetite definitely dropped exactly like you’re describing. It never caused any problems, but it did make me worried at first. He’d let his vegetables sit for a while, even some of his favorite treats he didn’t go after like he used to.

          But he was fine (:
