Hi guys I’m back! I got back settled and only took Jack back, “Baby” is well situated. Anyways I have Jack free roaming my bedroom and he’s doing well. The other night he jumped on my bed and hopped all over me, & it really surprised me how comfortable he was being with me until he bit me really hard in the buttcheek haha… I’m a little afraid of the little guy now. Was he just curious or is he aggresive?

Mine do this loads! I’ve worked out that the majority of the time it’s just because rabbits are rude/impatient and will bite you to tell you to get out the way If it felt like a hard pinch that’s probably what it is. Sometimes they will give light nips too whilst licking you which I think must just be part of grooming.

Since he approached you, I would say he was being playful and wanted your attention.

Buns will nip for a variety of reasons. Powder will nip me if I am in his way and he wants to get by me, or he wants me to do something and I am not “listening” since I don’t understand bunny. Stickers will nip me if I touch something she has decided is hers, though she hasn’t done that in a while. If your bun isn’t altered, nipping can also be a *ahem* flirtation. When they are mad and want to cause injury, you’ll have cuts and/or bruises, buns can actually leave quite a mark and sometimes even a scar when angry. If he just nipped a bit, probably wasn’t being mean.

I have to agree with the above. Even my most lovable lion bun will nip me when I do something not to his satisfaction or if I’m in his way. Sigh.

My buns always get me in the butt, it must be a popular place. Nice squishy area to sink their teeth into, LOL.
