So, most of you will probably think I’m wierd for saying this, but Moogle is driving me nuts because he needs so much attention from humans after his neuter. HOLY COW! Normally I would find this super cute and have no problem spending every second of my weekend with him, BUT I have an observation and show coming up that I need to prepare today and tomorrow. I have been sitting with my laptop in his area but he wants me hands on him. If I stop cuddling he tries to get on my laptop or “destroy” the laptop. If I’m just sitting there and I stop petting him or massaging him, he thrusts his head under my hands. He has always done this thing where if I put my hands a heads width apart, he pushes his face in and melts into a bunny puddle for massages.

Another issue is, I need to spend time with Ashe as well. I barely saw her after his neuter and she sat on the top shelf of her bunny condo patiently watching me try to save Moogle. I think she understands the situation because normally she would have been rattling her cage for time out. I feel bad because anytime I’m with Ashe I can hear Moogle rattling his cage (normally I have them both out at the same time but he’s been a nutty bunny wanting to destroy everything in his path, so he needs supervision.)

Normally I would have the bf play with one and I get the other, but we have been on opposite sleep schedules since the neuter so someone is always watching Moogle’s poops/for signs. Zach hasn’t gone back to his normal sleep because he says he’s still worried and wants to watch him the rest of the week.

Moogle also has his hedgehog friend that he plays with (he carries him/her around and grooms it) but that doesn’t seem to be helping now either.I am getting him one of the lop stuffed animals from the BB store for Christmas, and I may have to give him an early present. I can’t wait to try to bond the buns so I can play with both at the same time and double their play space.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can keep Moogle satisfied and still get things done? He’s finally gone to sleep for the day, but I worry about when I go back to work tomorrow.

And when I say he’s driving me crazy… I don’t mean THAT crazy. I still think he’s perfect

When Rufus is being really clingy and I need to get some work done on my computer I try and get him to settle against one of my legs. Then I keep patting him for a while slower and slower until I just rest my hand on his back. Then I sub a stuffed animal or blanket for my handand pat slowly again and that seems to settle him. He has the weight of something on his back and he’s cuddled up against my leg. Strangest advice I’ve given but you could give that a try! He’ll settle down in a couple of weeks, just a warning that after his neuter Rufus ripped his stuffed toy apart and ate some stuffing while I was at work. He loved it before the neuter but was not keen at all afterwards. Post neuter crazies!

OMG Rufus! My mother used to do that to me to trick me to go to bed too!! LOL! I always begged for back rubs as a kid. One morning I woke up with a deck of card on my back. Ha!! Too funny!!!

LBJ; my bunny Yohio likes to be pet with a foot. He comes to a person’s foot and pushes at it with his nose and when you raise your foot up, he gets his head in under it and stays there for pets.

Well, now he’s a destructo bunny he woke us up every 30min to an hour all night last night. He threw litter everywhere and kept digging in the litter box. It was so noisy. We got him more things to destroy… This is going to be a long month…
