My bunny loves to cuddle but he gets so relaxed he pees and poops on me!!!! Im hoping he will grow out of this it is frustrating He is just a few weeks old so im thinking that’s normal for babies? Is there a way to prevent this happening so much?

I would say hold on to him for shorter periods of time for starters. Rabbits don’t want to pee or poop on you (though some poopies may slip out!) so hold for a short while and then put him in his litter box to use the potty. Try noticing when he’s going to pee, they don’t just pee, but usually make some attempt to get out of your arms, and/or lift their tail so pay close attention-any movement put him in his potty to go. This will not only teach him where to potty but not to do so on you

Stickers will do the same if she lays on the boyfriends chest for too long and she is three?(not fully sure on her age) years old. Leave him a way down that he is comfortable taking or hold him for not quite as long. Only other time my buns have done that is when Powder was saying “human, I cannot get off the bed since you are in my way, so I shall just use you instead of my box”

I don’t hold him for too long when he does this. But he does start squirming around before he poops or pees. I guess every time he starts moving away i should put him down then. Lol i just assumed he was playing on me, not trying to get away.

I was going to ask this same question. Bunnicula is being a little snot and has peed on me twice today! However, we spent almost an hour hanging out with Bunnicula on my lap last night. I don’t get it. Still a new bunny to us though. Only had it 24 hours so far. And just poops EVERYWHERE in their cage
