Rabbits Behavior Lately

HI lately i’ve noticed a little change in my rabbits behaviour not bad but just different.

she keeps trying to get under my bad she will try her hardest scratching biting at whatever object I have in her way. she usually goes under there and comes back out maybe its hide and seek.

She also has been crawling under things alot more lately and lunging out at me then kissing me. then she’ll run in circles and run into the wall then run around again lol.

she sudden loves going into places she usually didnt and I dont want her to be so I bunny proofed it but she tries her hardest just like she does to get there as she does under the bed.

she has been eating alot more than usual and drinking alot too.

is this all normal for a growing baby bunny?

Absolutely!
First, a bunny loves projects, so once they set their mind on something, like digging under a bed, they will come back to it day after day. It’s good to set up some substitute toy things as an outlet, like a long diggy box full of shredded paper that she can discover and burrow through. She is curious about everything just like a human baby, so as she gets more secure in your home, she will venture out more and more and explore. You may find her in some unexpected places so you can’t bunny proof enough.
If she’s lunging and kissing and running in circles, she’s playing with you. Run away so she can chase you first, then turn and chase her back. Eventually, the circling could mean her hormones are starting to kick in, and it will be time to get spayed. At about 5 months old.

Everything you describe is a normal part of growing up. At least for bunnies, that is. She is more comfortable now with her surroundings so she wants to explore and do new things. And yes, if it is “forbidden” then she will definitely want to go there.

thanks guys she has been quite silly lately. Guess it is almost time for her to be spay she is exactly 5 months now hasnt shown any bad hormones yet besides now she is knawing on everything including the cage bars regardless shes got tons of toys there. she goes under the bed and comes back out then she circles my feet and I start playing with her rag she likes to run into it and grab it.
