  Our little girl is growing up Tomorrow she goes in and I feel bad for her. I’m guessing she’s going to be pretty miserable for a few days. It doesn’t help that she’s binking her little brains out right now without a care in the world. She’s running circles around Buster and generally making me laugh. I’m going to miss that. Here’s hoping she comes through it okay.

  Just make sure to take great care of her afterwards, and she will recover in no time!

  I feel for you Russell! My bun Shadow was spayed 5 days ago! It was nerve wracking but she did great! I did ask my vet to give her fluids during the surgery to make sure she didn’t get dehydrated if she didn’t drink for a while. I was glad I did- because she didn’t drink much at first! I also got 4 days supply if Metacam for pain. I know It helped Shadow because 20 minutes or so after each dose, her activity level would improve and she would eat more!
  
  I started a thread about it here on BB, but I am not computer savvy enough to post the link for you . Sorry- but you should be able to find it pretty easily. Other BB members posted their experiences with spaying too, which helped me know what to expect!
  
  Shadow is back to herself, and will be allowed to gave her cottontail cottage back in 1-2 days!

  I heard from the vet today. she came through just fine and I can bring her home tomorrow. My daughter is getting the small cage ready as we speak. Thanks for the good thoughts.
