I don’t have a flemish giant, but. I have a kitchen doorway where there is no door and it’s too wide for a regular swinging gate. So I put two regular size wooden baby gates on hinges and attached them to the doorframe and I bungee cord them shut. On a regular size doorway you can install a hook to keep it shut. If I get a Flemmie or any rabbit that jumps them I’m going to double up and create a second set of swinging gates off the ground, above the first set. So you could do that.

You could customize your gate using NIC grids. That way you can create the appropriate height and width. Cheaper than buying baby gates too! Plus, you get many grids in a box so you could use the leftovers to create gates/barricades for other areas of your home if you need them.

What size space would she be confined to? Flemmies really do need LOTS of space. (I have 2!) and with their heavy weight and ability to jump to infinity, I would worry any barrier could be breached. Might be easier to just get rid of the couch! ;p

… I was also thinking about installing, a giant curtain that goes behind the couch….? LOL. Idk though, Would be a hassle, My living room/dining area has a high ceiling so that might be silly. Idk. I really need to solve this problem
