Took the babies out of the condo for a little playtime before bed – which they loved – and then tucked them in for the night. I thought. Good thing I stayed in the office to clean up, when all of a sudden I heard this weird “pa-think” sound coming from the condo. I turned around and little sh!t-pants Beau had squeezed his little skull thru the bars and landed outside the cage on the floor! He looked completely stunned – as one would who just had his skull flattened. I scooped him up and snuggled him until he seemed back in control of his bunny senses , then I returned him to the cage, where he IMMEDIATELY tried to squeeze thru again! So I ‘ve spent the last hour zip tying thick cardboard all around to a height of 18 inches. All the while Beau is testing the enclosure like the raptors in Jurassic Park! I’m sleeping downstairs on the couch in the next room tonight so I can keep an ear on Hairy Houdini!

That’s Beau…look at his head compared to the size of the bars!

Angel-baby Simba. “The good one” Lol!  I just LOVE his coloring…and his belly is white! He looks like a creamsicle!

Wow. I can understand your frustration! Could you do me a favor tho and edit your thread subject line… It’s a little bit “colorful” for BB. Remember, we have minors on this site also. :o)

            The fun begins. :p

So was it a cage or condo? I can picture him getting thru some condo grids but not so much a cage.

At least Flemmies grow fast so it won’t be long before its impossible to squeeze thru.

This gives me flashbacks of Timbu as a young bun. Everytime i turned away he was out if enclosure again. I couldn’t catch him the act. Turned out he was climbing out.

hahaha I had the same problem with my little girl when she was still a itty bitty baby. She got free roam of the house much much much sooner than I ever planned because I simply couldn’t not keep her in the cage. Every time I found out where she was getting out and blocked it off she just found/created a new spot to let herself out. Bunnies are just too smart for their own good sometimes.

Jerseygirl – It’s a 48″ tall, 3 level condo made from an x-pen. (I just also call it their “cage”.) His little head JUST fits thru the bars… Bpash – fun, huh?

Oh wow! I can’t believe he got through those! Lol

So the “B” on their ears stands for Brat?

If Beau becomes too much to handle, I’ll take him!

You’ll have to fight me for him!
