Hi everyone! I recently adopted sister lop buns and just joined the site! We’re happy to be here! I adopted June(right) and Louise(left) from a Rabbit Rescue here in NYC. They’re 8 months old and I’ve had them for about  a month now. Their favorite past times include surveying their domain from a top a cardboard castle, organized escape attempts, and doing whatever it takes to get mom’s attention. I couldn’t imagine life without them! I work in Lincoln Center in Manhattan.

This site has been a wonderful resource for me. I’m sure there’s lots to be learned from you guys!

I’d like to hear more about these “organized escape attempts”. Lol

Thank you! Waking up to those adorable furry faces still leaves me in disbelief. They’re so cute I can’t ever be mad at them!

I need to get them one of those gates for toddlers because they are always trying to escape from my room! I have a folded cardboard box I use as a barrier to the door so they don’t slip out when I open and close it. Well June will shove the cardboard aside and like a good sister allow Louise to escape first before she follows behind. Anytime I leave the room I get nervous when I open the door because they just wait for me to leave so I don’t catch them in the act. The funniest part is this has become so routine when I do open the door I just say “Alright girls the jig is up!” and they hop back in.

                 Oh that is too cute!

It’s hard to be sad with a bunny around.
