        Hello everyone

I’ve just joined and this is my first post and I’m hoping you might be able to help me

I have a mini rex buck called billy he’s been neutered and vaccinated I’ve had him for just nearly a year now he lives inside our home has a cage and I let him out for playtime. I work quite long hours and feel really bad keeping him confined to a cage all day. So I moved his cage and allow him free run of my kitchen and upstairs with bedroom doors closed. Since I let him out his new fav place is the bathroom behind the toilet, he’s hardly been anywhere near his cage at all and only comes down stairs to eat, drink and use the litter tray he seems ok but I’m just concerned that because I’ve moved the location of his cage I could confuse him?? Is that possible??

He seems really chilled and just spreads out accross the floor in the bathroom and landing but has been very quiet.

Have I made him feel upset because he keeps on hiding when I go near him

Many thanks for taking time to read this x

Is he warm? I can see why a cool bathroom floor and toilet would be attractive. If he knows where his cage is and is going there to eat/drink/use litter box, then I don’t think he’s confused. He might just be happy to have this new freedom.
