        Hiya,

A lot of people mention light teeth grinding indicating that a bun is happy.

Only problem is,I’m partially deaf and have never heard it! A friend was staying over recently and said she could hear a sort of buzz coming from the rabbit – was that it?

Anyway,I was wondering what it actually looks like when they’re grinding. I notice Fidget’s nose wiffling and twitching a lot, and thought maybe that’s it?

        Help!

        X

It sort of looks like a side-side wiggle of their mouth. Kind of hard to explain. When your bun is tooth grinding (purring) you can probably feel it if you put your hand gently on his head. Tooth purring tends to come in waves (purr purr purr, pause, purr purr, pause) whereas a constant, louder grind (this you can really feel) is a sign of pain.

Yes! That’s what I mean by the wiffling.

Oh good, thanks for clearing that up
