It’s been about 2 months since her spay and she’s mellowed out soooooooo much it’s wonderful.  Ever since I got her and she got settled in she’s been fearless of me and affectionate but not overly so.  But since her hormones have settled down she’s become more and more cuddly.  When it’s starting to get late at night she insists on sitting with me on the couch or the floor, just sitting next to me to groom herself or flopping down against my leg.  Basically, if it’s after 9pm then there is constant physical contact – she’s like glue.

The best though, is first thing in the morning.  Since she’s stopped marking on my bed entirely she’s now allowed in my room and every morning she likes to think of herself as my personal alarm clock.  First, she repeatably picks up my phone charger cord (in a hard plastic tube) and drops it on the end table (because it makes an awful noise) until I am awake enough to tell her to cut it out (aka she’s sure I’m kind of awake now).  Then she will sit next to me in that “I’m really to be groomed” fashion we all know so well.  If I start to fall asleep again while petting her she does that thing like dogs do where she will put her nose under my hand and try and bump my hand onto her head to get me to pet her more.  If she’s feeling generous she will let me go back to sleep and she’s just stretch out against my leg or something but once again, constant physical contact.

During the day she goes back to being a normal ‘i’m going to go nap under the couch’ bunny but she’s really become so much more sweet and cuddly now that her hormones are calmed down.  It’s just really awesome and i’m pretty sure i’m going to be late to work for the rest of my life because my bunny wants to cuddle with me so how do I get out of bed?

That sounds so adorable! I hope once mine are neutered they stop marking on my bed because they love being on there and I’d love to have them up You’re so lucky to have such a cuddly bunny!

I’m so jealous!! Simba’s gotten comfortable but is still very to himself. He lays around in his cage but really just comes over to me when he wants food… sigh* Hopefully soon he will come over even when he’s not hungry xP

Sounds like my sons girl, DigDug as he had hoped for an animal that mostly loved only him like our two cats are partial to my other son for one cat, and me with the other cat.

I am not against having her fixed especially if it results in her being more loving to Jake but money isn’t allowing for it just yet if at all.

It is really adorable. The only downside is that she seems to have figured my schedule so on weekdays she’s a cuddle bug but on the weekends she does everything in her power to annoy me into getting out of bed. I get up and feed her at the same time but she just keeps jumping on me if I try to go back to bed afterwards…. JUST LET ME SLEEP, IT’S A SATURDAY!
