I’m so happy to have found this forum. I have so many questions, and looks like I’ve found the right place to ask I am a new bunny mom to two happy, healthy and spoiled bunnies. They are both neutered (one was just recently nuetered a couple of weeks ago). Both were adopted at different times from the Arizona Humane Society, and we are still in the bonding process. Thankfully there has been no fighting, but there is quite a bit of mounting from Finian, which is the one that was recently altered.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out by telling me what kind of bunnies they think Finian and TIgger are? I really am not sure, and neither was the AHS. Thank you in advance

*Finian is the white bun, and Tigger is the black.

I can understand your excitement! When I joined I was literally shaking with excitement!
Tigger is a Dutch, and Finian could be a Netherland dwarf, how much does he weigh?
Anyways, your bunnies are adorable and welcome to BB!

Finian is definitely not a netherland dwarf, ears and body are WAY too big for that, he’s probably a mix Tigger is a dutch though

I was just guessing, I don’t know that much about bunny breeds and ear lengths and stuff. Haha oops

                    What sweeties!

                    Welcome here : )

I’m going to take a guess at Finian being a lop x non-lop cross. Just the way his ears sit and the bigger hocks make me think he’s got some lop in him.

Thank you I sure enjoy them. And, I was thinking the same thing about a lop, he reminds me of one in some ways. Im not familiar with some of the bunny talk, do you mind me asking what a non-lop cross means? He is a character for sure

I just meant a lop-eared bunny crossed with an up-ear bunny.
That doesn’t narrow down possible breeds at all! Lol

I also agree that he’s likely a lop mixed with an uppy-eared bunny. They’re both so cute!
