I’ve been looking into buying an exercise pen. So far they have been pretty expensive, but I found this one:

I’m concerned about the 4cm bar spacing. Will that be an issue?

It shouldn’t be a problem. I have a 2.6 pound dwarf in an xpen with 4 cm gaps between the bars. He can put his nose out to sniff and be pet, but there is no way he can get his head stuck.

Make sure the height is good for your bunny if (s)he is a jumper!

My boy is quite the jumper! The pen is about 91cm high though, I think that should be ok, as long as I don’t put anything he can you to jump from near the sides.

I have my xpen in a corner, that way the Hidey House is blocked by 2 walls.
You can also put a sheet on top and use binder clips to secure it in place (just over one corner or side near the box or house) I wouldn’t cover the whole thing

I have an exercise pen hooked up to the cage for my bun when i’m at work. Each panel is about 2 feet in height so i can still step over it, but he can’t jump out of it. The one you are looking at is about the same price as the pet trex one i own. $40 is about the cheapest i’ve seen them. Most of them are going to be upwards of $60 and the special small animal playpens cost the same as the doggie playpens but are about half the size. They’re definitely a good investment if you don’t want to give your bunny free reign while you’re gone.

I have almost exactly the same as the one you linked and it’s excellent. I use it as a fence to block off half the room when I’m out so I don’t have to shut the bunnies in their cage and they seem perfectly happy in it
