hi, I was wondering if someone could offer some advice please.  I have 2 bunnies, roughly 18 months and 12 months old, male and female, both neutred and have been litter trained.

They are house buns but due to the weather we have set them upin a run andhutch outside which they love however we bring them in at night due to foxes. We have noticed that since doing this they are pooing outside of their litter box when inside and also there are little wees in their area which they never used to do.  Just wondering if this is behavioral and how we may be able to rectify it?  I am wondering if it also due to them wanting to be outside rather than in as they seem more happy outside.

Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Do they have a litter box outside? Just thinking that if they are not using one outside, they may just be in the habit of going wherever they want.

Yeah they do have one outside, and they seem to use that without peeing everywhere. I am pretty sure its because we keep moving them from area to area and maybe this is unsettling them? Just not sure though.

I suspect it’s a territory issue and they are feeling the need to “reclaim” their area when they return to it.
