Quick question to all those bunny lovers out there. Do you give your bunny a bed to sleep on/in??

Either a cat/dog bed, a box with blankets, a pillow, etc. (anything squishier/comfier than the floor they usually walk on)

And do your rabbit(s) use it?

I’ve tried these things but find that most rabbits just pee on them in my experience. I’ve never had any of my rabbits quite understand the concept of the pet bed.

I’ve given Porky things to sleep on, but he prefers the bare berber carpeting in his condo for sleeping,

My bunnies love a plastic bin with memory foam mats, dollar store flat small cat beds, towels and fleece.

During the day for those short bunny naps, Bumpy just lounges around on the bare floor of his crate. When he puts himself “to bed”, he chooses to get into his little hidey hole, one of those cardboard concrete form tubes, that has a little window on one side and on the opposite side an escape-route door. No blankets or fluffy stuff. On rare occasions he sleeps in his litterbox on top of the hay.

I gave up on bunny beds as well – because my buns kept peeing on them. I’d wash them a few times…and then just throw them out, And I never saw them sleep in them.
But when I lay a blanket on the floor for them -they both like to sleep near it – and adjust it.

My Flemmie, Jo-Jo, alternates sleeping between her 2nd level carpeted shelf or in the darker space under the shelf where she has a big dog bed made of a fleecey material. She has never chewed or pooped or peed on it. But then again, she thinks she’s a puppy so…

My bunnies have a hidey box they like to sleep in, one of mine also sleeps in his litter tray. But during the day they usually just stretch out on the floor.
They prefer dark cosy quiet places for ‘bed time’ though!

Saw some youtube clips of some buns who sleep in beds and wanted to give mine a bed too but I think they’d just pee in it or one may dig and destroy it. Currently, they just pick random spots to sleep in. Sometimes it’s so out in the open I wonder what’s wrong with them; must be getting too comfortable!

Mine just sleep on top of a box that they have in their cage. It has holes for them to go inside which I’ve put an old towel in but they only wander in there occasionally for some reason. It’s strange since I know they enjoy the comfy things as every time I let them out they always choose to nap on my bed!

Monkey loves her little bed, curls up in it all the time Moose likes to rip them to shreds, so he doesn’t get one. Squirrel and Smudge really don’t care either way. So, to each their own
