        Hi Everyone!

Rufus is my bunny, he’s nearly 7 months old and I’ve had him since 8 weeks of age. I got him from a breeder who said he was a Mini Lop but he grew over that size within about a week and is a bit bigger than I planned! So I think he’s a Dwarf Lop. I picked him out of a litter of about 8 because he was completely unflinching around people and didn’t seem bothered about anything.

He’s very affectionate for the most part but he can get a bit passive agressive if he’s not getting what he wants. I bought some of that bitter tasting spray to stop him chewing on the wood of his cage and he hopped over and drank a puddle of it while making eye contact with me – like he was proving I can’t get to him! The picture on my profile is of him sitting on my university notes and refusing to get off because he was annoyed I was reading and not patting him enough. He looks so defiant!

I’m loving having a bunny again, I had rexes and dwarf lops when I was a kid. I’ve been living in a few different countries for the last few years and now finally I’m staying in one place enough to have a pet again.
