My youngest bun Tupac is almost five months old, and because the breeder I got him(?) from said she thought the bunny was a male, I believed her and assumed Tupac was indeed a boy. But there are no signs of testies.. maybe just not yet? Or maybe she was wrong? I don’t know but I’m pretty sure he might be a she.

Also,I introduced my two bunnies today, and Tupac humped my male bunny until I pulled him/her off. My other bunny didn’t seem to mind, or maybe he was frightened and just didn’t react?

Could somebody please tell me what the heck is going on omg

          Hi Tupac,
It’s possible at 5 months they have not quite developed but you should be able to see where they will eventually be. They are not going to be immediately obvious like dogs and cats. You want to look at the tummy just above and to the sides. You should see two pink patches of skin about the size of your thumb. You may have to look through the belly fluff to find them. No pink patches of skin then I would say you definitely have a little girl who is starting to feel a bit hormonal (girls will hump, they tend to be dominant)

I would not be letting them interact until you know for certain. Otherwise you could end up with a bunch of baby rabbits to deal with.

Were you able to find out whether the older rabbit (Moo) had been neutered or not?

I thought my little guy was a girl. Took “her” to the vet to get her spayed. Vet agreed during the exam that he was a she – until he started the surgical procedure – and found the testicles. Boy buns can retract their testicles when nervous. LOL

It’s probably time to see the vet to make sure..
