  Everything worked out and we brought him home today!
  
  He definitely has some Rex in him, his whiskers are curly and he’s very soft. I don’t think he’s purebred though, he doesn’t quite have that “clean cut” look of a Rex.
  
  Here he is:
  
  One of the first things he did was pee in his food bowl.
  
  I’ll take some pictures of him tomorrow, I don’t wanna freak him out too much today.

  tanlover: I’m so thankful that we got to rescue a bunny, it’s so rewarding, although I could have done without his snake food backstory. The guy he came from breeds them just for that purpose, so sad. I’m just glad Oscar made it out and we get to give him a wonderful home.

  We really wanted to call him Rorschach, but didn’t quite feel it. He just looks like “Oscar”.

  Aw, he’s a total sweetheart. I’m so, so glad that you rescued him and he didn’t end up as his breeder intended. Oscar suits him quite well.

  I literally die of happiness every time I see this thread or the posts in the Chat about him! Literally – I haven’t been so happy to have someone adopt a bunny in quite a long time as I know how long you’ve waited for this!
  
  And of course his absolutely handsome face. (I’ll stroke his ego a bit ) I die of happiness every time I see that also!

  MissGabbster: Yeah, I’m very thankful that somebody took him away from there. I can’t imagine anyone looking at his sweet face and thinking “Yup, looks like snake food.” I try not to think of the other poor babies that weren’t so lucky. Two others were rescued with him, they were very cute too, but girls. We really wanted a boy.
  
  tanlover: Thank you so much! Sounds like you’re just about as happy as I am. We had to wait a long time, but he sure was worth it. I couldn’t have wished for a better little bun.
