My bunny has always had brownish-yellow around both her eyes as far as i can remember. However, lately ive been getting paranoid about it, i keep thinking it may be some kind of infection because it is yellowy! She naturally has brown spots all over her back so could it just be part of her spots or is it something to be worried about??

Also another thing im worried about is her ears. Under her ear there is this scruffy type of fur and its not anywhere else on her body, only her ears. She is a holland lop bunny so is the fur like that because of her floppy ears? Or again, is something wrong with it????

You can see the brownish-yellow around her eye. It’s very light (left pic)

Here’s the scruffy fur i saw when i lifted her ear (right pic)

Have you had the vet check this out?

It looks like coloured fur to me, but that being said she does look a little under weight..I agree with Sarita, a trip to the vet is always the best option with any concern.

Yeah i’m taking her to the vet for her sore hocks anyway, i’ll just ask them about that too. Does she really look underweight?? I feed her half a cup of pellets a day and unlimited hay. She also plays in the yard where she eats plenty of grass and I sometimes feed her bits of apples. Any suggestions as to what else I can give her?

It could be because all mine are fatties but she definitely looks thin through the back and shoulders to me, it might also be the angle… Additional green veg like Kale, bok choy, coriander, mint, parsley etc might help.. but since you are going to the vets anyway he could check..
What sort of hay is she having ?

I tried giving her veggies like coriander but she does not eat them. She is very picky and only eats sweet stuff like apples but she does eat grass… i dont know how nutritious that is. And she is having timothy hay
