Im praying lilly wont be a psycho bunny after her soay the first week in august she has been getting worse and worse.

She has been hissing scratching lunging at biting me when i try to put her away for the day or clean her cage sge runs up to me and headbutts me. She constantly chews the cage and i get no sleep because of that.. she wasnt like this when i first got her. I wanted another snuggle buddy like my old lop but instead i got a destructive daughter..

Lately shes just been hiding under my bed ripping up the carpet and thumping at me. She has toys and chewable wood yet she doesnt touch them.. any advice? Do you think her spay will calm her?

she definitely needs to be spayed, her attitude should change quite a bit afterwards. It may take a month or two for her hormones to settle down, but hopefully this is exactly what your bun bun needs ^_^

Agree with Tupac. After the spay, the hormones will die down and she’ll be less crazy. You won’t see changes immediately though… it takes a few weeks for all the hormones to dissipate.

As for ripping up carpet and chewing… you should stick boxes under your bed and make a maze for her so she can have her fun without destroying your stuff =D
