        Okay guys.

        Seriously need some help here.

I normally sit and enjoy reading lots on here and lapping up all the expertise on the site. However it became time to reach out in need.

Patrick is chew crazy. I know this has been discussed so much on here, but the general solutions just are not working. He has alternatives and he is not ignored, he’s very much interacted with, we have sprayed everything but he is just deliberate in chewing everything.

Mainly corners of walls, the paint off it, wallpaper off it, wooden furniture, the lot.

        Need some help pronto!!!!!

Mine too. I think she does these things sometimes just to taunt me.

Spraying cologne didn’t deter her from the rug. Wiping vinegar on the new furniture only stunk up my flat. She still chews…

Have you tried a bitter anti-chew spray like Bitter Apple? It is meant for training dogs, but I have always used it for my rabbits, birds and kittens as well. Just be careful, some animals like the taste of it so test it on something small and inexpensive first.

              Yeah we have!!!!! Argh!!

It worked temporarily (like, half a day).
But then his inquisitive nature got the better of him and he runs over to see what we’re spraying. He then waits for it to disappear and then goes over to chew it again.

Ya you can’t just spray it once, it requires constant respraying until the bunny thinks that it will always taste like that.

yeah we tried the process for around 3 months, he’s just very smart and knows it will go away if he waits, he then does it when we’re out the room, and as soon as we walk back in he FLIES away – because he knows it’s naughty.
