I made a video feeding our bunnies some fresh plants I got from our yard. Please excuse me for the messy cage, the video was a spur of the moment kind of thing, and our ladies had made a huge mess that I chose not to clean up before making the video… Also, sorry for the lighting changes, the cage is under a bed so it’s kind of dark there for my camera.

By the way, my hubby and I built a hay rack for the bunnies, and I’m so happy with it. It saves hay as the bunnies can’t pull it or dig it right out into their litterboxes, and the hay stays clean. It’s made from the same untreated wood like the cage.

Your bunnies are so cute and cuddly looking.
It kind of looks like they got hair extensions around their ears.

Nice video, and good transitions between still shots at the end.

Thank you! Yeah, we do make jokes about “their long hair”, and actually I haven’t seen other bunnies having these long strands of fur that look like human hair. In fact, the way the fur is near the skin also looks like human, as it kind of lacks that fuzzy, soft undergrowth (don’t remember the name in English now, sorry), and in certain light it might even look like they have bald patches at the back of their heads. Yesterday I groomed them both, cut their nails, and they were so cute, even though they hate the nail cutting part. (But they don’t fight or anything, I manage to do it by myself.) Afterwards I hug them, or they actually like to seek comfort under my chin, so I just hold them and pet them. Of course they get treats, and no matter how upset they seemed to be during the nail cutting, as soon as I put them back in their room and their feet touch the floor, they literally yank the treats off my hands <3

Your bunnies are soooo adorable and they look identical. How do you tell them apart?

I wish my rabbit is enthusiastic about eating fresh greens. Sometimes she will eat them, other times not. If I keep offering a piece of green to her face, she will drop her head down to the floor. What kind of funny behaviour is this?

Thank you You’re right, it was hard to tell them apart when we first got them. But, their personalities were so different, that very soon it was easy to tell which one is which. In the video the bunny appearing first is Nelli, and she is easy to recognize now (since they are adults) from her wider nose and actually, just her bigger size. They are mix breed, so I guess it’s normal for them to have some size difference.

Your bunny’s behavior sounds sweet. Maybe she wants to determine when to eat her greens by herself, and not accept the offerings of a bunnyslave Beautiful creatures, bunnies <3
