I was just browsing through some old toys posts and looking at online toy stores, then I had an idea. Paper Mache balls, with flour and water glue. A section could be left open to stuff hay, and some treats in. The rabbits could have fun shredding it/rolling it around. Is the glue safe to ingest?

      • the idea sounds great but no glue is not safe to digest

I haven’t done anything with paper mache in ages. How much flour is involved? You wouldn’t want your bunnies consuming a lot of it.

Are you just talking about using plain flour and plain water, nothing else?

Flour and water glue should be fine. Ground oatmeal and water glue may be better.

It would be just plain flour and water, and would only be applied thinly

I don’t think it would be worse than the glue they use of those toys you buy at the pet store. Not that that stuff is good or anything.
