Try looking for a new litter box with higher sides so his butt can’t hang out.

How big is your litter box? Maybe getting a bigger one would solve the problem?

I definitely would try a high-sided box. Also, check out things like kitchen dish pans, the plastic tubs that fit into a big sink (made by cos. like Rubbermaid) or bathtub. They aren’t hard for a flemmie to jump into, but can have more room and high sides. Also, some cat litter boxes come much bigger, too. (I’ve seen them at Targets and Walmarts, for example.)

                  I’ll look for one then.

I wouldn’t go for the covered one. Bunnies do like having a place to hide and feel secure but they also like having multiple ways of escaping. Your bunny might feel trapped with this litter box and may not want to use it, also many of the reviews said it was a lot smaller than they expected.
It’s between the other two for me. The middle one sounds like a good size and has pretty good reviews. The only thing that you may want to consider is that because all of the sides are high, your bunny will have to hop out of the box and will probably end up kicking a little bit of litter and poo when he does.
In the reviews for the other one, many were saying the box has smaller dimensions than what are listed so I’m not sure if its big enough or not.

Pip has done this for months and she’s just a palomino lionhead cross. I’m taking her in to the vet to check that she doesn’t have a UTI.
Standard sized bunny, standard sized litterbox. But she’s also peeing in inappropriate places on the floor of her habi.
She and Mimz used to have immaculate habits. Now only Fiver is careful where he goes. I worry about bonding them and then having three bunnies who won’t use the potty right. 0_0

Is this a good one? I bought it today but he hasn’t used it but that could be because I’m bonding him and it broke his litter box habits

Has your rabbit used the new litter box for anything yet? If the only issue was having one too small, the new box should stop him from going over.

Polly (the new bunny) has used it. Peeta stopped using it. I guess his hormones aren’t totally gone yet. Probably trying to mark his territory.
