.Today when i picked my rabbit up from his cage, i realized he had gray near is genitalia area. Should i be worried? what might be causing this?

Any extra information on what is causing this would be helpful. He is a 7 month old holland lop almost all white except for a brown stripe down his back. Thanks!

Could be staining. What sort of litter do you use?

Fur color can also change a little bit with shedding. One of my bunnies who was a light tan color turned grayish then to a darker brown from shedding.

is it a mix of carefresh and paper fiber ltter… The litter box has a grate on it due to the fact he likes to dig up EVERYTHING and you can see the problem there

Your litter setup sounds fine, and from what you said I doubt that that’s the problem. I’m more inclined to agree with Chronicambitions that this might be a temporary shedding change – sometimes, fur that is on it’s way through a shed may look greyish. A picture would give us a better idea of what you’re talking about, but otherwise, I’d just keep an eye on it for now.
