We will most likely be moving to a new apartment and I was looking for ideas on how to protect the carpet. There is a HUGE closet across the the kitchen but its all carpeted and I am going to put his xpen and stuff in it and I was looking for ideas on how to protect the carpet from water spills and stuff.

The kitchen is unfortunately way too small to put his stuff in, there is only enough room for 2 people to walk in it. They also expect me to keep him caged all the time but.

I got a piece of remnant vinyl flooring from Home Depot. You could also have a thin piece of wood cut to whatever size you need and then cover that with those self adhesive carpet squares if your bunny prefers carpet.

There is plastic flooring that comes in rolls that you can get cheaply at Target. I use that and lay it down on top of my carpet. Then I place a fluffy blanket/comforter that I bought from the thrift store over it so that the buns can’t eat the plastic. I then put the NIC on top of it all. =] That may help.
