My bunny buddy Frost has fleas. I would get rid of the dog, but my husband won’t let me, so he says the fleas have to stay… LOL just kidding. Just not sure what to do since bunnies are so sensitive to meds. Anyone know how to treat him? THANKS!

Advantage and Revolution are both safe, although I believe Revolution is the preferred med. Your vet needs to prescribe these since buns are very sensitive and the dosages vary. If your dog has fleas, he will need to be treated as well.

Frontline is NOT SAFE and should never be used on, or around, rabbits.

I use Revolution puppy and kitten in the pink/lilac box. I find it the best and most highly recommended for buns. The Revolution product for dogs is also excellent but I have not used it. I have used it for my cats however and found it a good product.
Beka is quite right FRONTLINE is deadly to buns as are several of the other products.
Advantage do a combo product for cats, rabbits and ferrets but I think the dosage is a bit trickier.

My vet used Revolution on my bun when he had ear mites once, it works for fleas too of course.

My current foster, Starsky, had bird lice from the chicken they had put in alongside him the day before… Revolution nailed them in an hour, it even killled the one that had burrowed into his ear..
