        Hello everyone.

I’m Nichole, and I recently received my first bunny, Elvis. He came to me from a friend who had been trying to care for him after his previous owner was no longer able. Nobody knows how old he is…but I at least know that he is over 1 year, because his previous owner had him for a year. He had been kept in a cage in a closet and never really got to leave his cage…but despite that he is a very easygoing and sociable bunny. Every day I’m enjoying him more, his personality is so fun.

I’m having some issues litter training him. I put the litter box in the corner of the cage where he normally poops and put some of his little poopies in there to try to make him understand. However, he poops and pees AROUND it…he would much rather sit in it and and clean himself instead of using it for its purpose. He was just recently neutered (last Friday), though, and I don’t know how much that will help. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Here are some pictures of him:

        The outside world is fun!

He’s a cutie! Good luck with litter training. I’m also trying to train a rabbit so I don’t necessarily have any advice but I’ve heard neutering helps!

Cute! I love the name. Fits him well

It could take 4 weeks for his hormones to dissipate after a neuter. Do you have bedding on the floor of his cage? If so, remove ALL bedding in his cage. And only have stuff in his litterbox. Put hay in his box too. They love to munch and go .

Thank you, I never even thought about that! I will definitely try that.
