Both of the buns completely stumped my grapefruit mint. Harley seemed to enjoy the peppermint though. I was actually really bummed because I have A LOT of grapefruit mint and was hoping they would enjoy it too. I am going to try the chocolate mint tomorrow, sneak it into their morning salad or something.

Have you fed your buns different types of mint? And if so, what were their preferences?

Mine won’t touch mint. Not with a ten foot pole. LOL

In the winter, Bam loved mint. I don’t know what kind, I bought it at the Lebanese market. Now neither bun want mint. Since I now grow lots of mint, I’ve begun drying it. Some spices they seem to prefer dried, like oregano. Oregano is not touched here unless dried. I guess Bam really needed mint in the winter, when greens are scarce and must be bought. Now I pick stuff for my bunnies in nature every day and the abundance of greens probably makes mint less attractive.

I have four kinds of mint, but I don’t know all their names, one is peppermint and one is Mexican mint. One kind is like fuzzy.

Oh interesting! We also dry our mint too and wasn’t aware they would even like it! I’m going to give them some dried mint and see which they prefer Harley eventually ate the grapefruit mint last night! Took him 12 hours to try it!
