My little girl does this thing that I can only assume is her version of tag or something but when I move my hand she will jump as high as she can straight up in the air as if she’s been startled (i’m talking like a foot+ off the ground too), start doing her bunny 500 sprints from one end of the room to the other, and then creep up on me to do it all over again.  We will do this over and over for like 10 minutes until she gets tired and usually flops down next to me for some petting.  The way she behaves you would think I legitimately scared her except that she turns totally calm once she decides it’s over and starts nudging my hand to get me to groom her.  My only real problem with this is she can get a bit too rough sometimes and start digging at my arm (she’s not fixed yet but soon) but other than that it’s all just playfulness.  Odd little thing my bunny is… anyway, do your bunnies do stuff like this?

My bunny and I were doing this just this morning. Sometimes I get her all riled up by playing with these sticks we got. I pick one up, she grabs it and throws it down, I pick another one up, and so on. Eventually she starts doing her excited head shakes and half binkies. Then I pick up the carrot toss toy and shake it. That makes her go completely crazy after a few rounds of her grabbing it, standing up, and throwing it! After that, every time I shake it, she shakes her head, bounces up in the air, and then it’s onto Bunny 500’s all around the rug until she gets so energized she runs uncontrollably across the wood floor almost down the hall, slides to a stop, turns around, binkies back, and then flops on the rug for strokes.

Every time she has tried to dig at my arm or my husbands, we just get up and stop playing with her. Now instead of digging at us, she nudges us out of the way if she wants to go somewhere. She was fixed before we picked her up from the pound. So I think that’s just natural bunny behavior, regardless. If it helps, our bunny loves playing with my husbands socks and digging at those when she’s on our rug. That diverted her attention from digging at us as well. Just give her some other toy that she can roll and move around instead of you (socks, hay ball, plastic ball, etc).

My bunny will “chase” my boyfriend around this chest like piece of furniture and then periscope (he can’t see over the chest) and then try to find him and they just keep going in circles until my bunny decides to stop it’s the cutest thing. I’ll get a video of them doing it and then post it on here one of these days.

That’s so cute! My bunny lets my husband chase her every night for bedtime. She will stop and wait for him to approach and then run under things and around things to get him to go in circles. She actually practices some of her ninja moves during the day. She’s super smart too because she’ll start going into her cage really easily for a few nights but I’ll see her practicing crazy jumps and routes during the day. Then after a few nights of being nice to him, she’ll show off her new moves and make him run around for 15 minutes!

I play by teaching the buns tricks. They LOVE it! Every morning when I let them out they get soooo excited because they know it’s that time to do their tricks so they can’t get their treat. I do the tricks in the exact same spot every day so sometimes when I let them out they run full out to the room and just really hyped up and excited to do their tricks lol

I have only started a few days ago, it’s amazing how fast they catch on to routine but Harley can beg, walk on his hind legs, and spin in circles to get his treat.
And Sally can beg, jump on a box, and spin in circle for her treat I can’t wait to start teaching them more tricks! They LOVE it.

And other than that, they entertain themselves and I’m just the person that is always around if they decide they want some good lovin’

Foo will chase/follow my husband around our bedroom and eventually jump on him for pets. She climbs all over me when I’m on the floor. She loves chasing her blankie around and doing zoomies. She has toys we bought her, but she much prefers throwing our stuff around. She also loves playing with our pants at night (she’ll follow us around and stand up on her back legs like a dog) and burrowing under our pillows and dirty laundry. Her new trick however, is opening the disk drive on the xbox when she’s tired of Daddy playing games (well, at least that’s how I see it, she’s done it a few times, and it’s hilarious!) and wants him to come play with her.

If I move suris rattle she picks it up and chucks it about until it ends up on my feet and then she’ll wait for me to join in! Buttons likes tug of war on willow sticks and comes over for pets then binkies around before whizzing back round to go again! I’m going to train them to do tricks and agility jumps when they’re old enough to eat fruit!

Powder used to play chase – he would run to one side of the house and if I ran beside him we would just do laps til he got tired and then he would flop by the a/c vents. But, since he is bonded now he only plays chase with his girly. So, I don’t get invited to play anymore, just pets and food.

Chester likes to “dance”. He runs circles around me and does eight figures running between my legs. Whenever he stops I twirl and then he runs the opposite way LoL He keeps this up for a bit then just flops over.

He also asks to be petted. After dinner I sit on the floor watching a tv series and put on a pillow on my lap. He jumps up and nudges me until I pet him yesterday we did two episodes of Hitchcock before he decided he had enough petting!

Bright Eyes likes to be chased…. he’ll sit and wait for me to go up to him then run around… He’ll come back, nudge at my feet and run away again… Either that or he’s just nervous of me still… Not even two weeks since we got him so
