I know what you are thinking- How can she possibly be mouring her rabbit’s death when she hasn’t even had a rabbit? Well, my neighbor and good friend’s rabbits died about a month ago. They were truly beautiful rabbiits. They were a bonded couple, and while I don’t know their names, I will always miss their sweet faces. They had a loving family and ther own room inside, but no matter how much a pet is loved, they will need to go to the bridge at some point. My neighbor is still sad. (((Binky free beautiful bunnies))).

colleenbunny, I think it is very kind of you to post your tribute and loss here. We all have extended families, friends, and neighbors that we get close to, and it’s important to acknowledge when you have lost someone (or two) that you cared about. Thank you for posting. They are together over the bridge now.

An animal doesn’t have to be your own for you to feel th loss. You must have a big heart to put your contribute here. We need more people like you in this world

So sorry to hear about your little friends passing. I also lost a bunny acquaintance the other day. He didn’t live with me, but he was very near and dear to my heart. The animals I know have a huge impact on my life, and my days are full of meaning, compassion, and laughter in part because of their presence. It’s hard when they’ve gone.
