I am in communication with a bunny mum in Plano, Texas, who is in need of a good bunny savvy vet or specialist in the immediate area, or someone who would work with her current vet on a matter of an abscessed molar in her 8-9 year old Californian spayed female rabbit. This bun is now being treated for head tilt accompanying the tooth abscess. She was given a GA and dental ten days ago or so and the tooth is unable to be removed.

Sarita, I put this to your attention because I know you have taken care of dental and elderly bunnies and you have such a great vet who helps you with them. Do you have any recommendations for a bunny who doesn’t travel well and really needs some help? I’m afraid I don’t know exactly where Plano is, but my heart went out to this gal so I told her I’d ask around, and I really appreciate your expertise in this area.

Many thanks for any and all replies.

Check the Bunspace vet directory too. I have found quite a few vets there that aren’t listed on HRS.
